The Last Hours of Jose Abad Santos

                                                                                                           

         "It is an honor to die for one's country. Not everybody has that chance."

                                             

His last parting words to his son were " Do not cry Pepito, show to these people that you are brave. Tell your mother,your sisters,and your brother that my thought will always be of them. And remember,my son,no tears."Jose Abad Santos was executed by a firing squad on May 2, 1942.


 Jose Abad Santos is considered the greatest Filipino hero of World War II.
